DO AIPYS, General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)
Manuel qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in Central London in 1989 and has been in full-time practice as a registered osteopath and yoga therapist since.
He works with a broad range of patients including newborns, children and adults of all ages and women during and after pregnancy. He employs a variety of osteopathic techniques directed at joints, soft tissues and internal organs via direct and indirect interventions, including high-velocity and functional manipulations, massage and in particular the cranial approach. He strives to identify and understand the adaptive or dysfunctional patterns underlying your symptoms, and aims to release your body’s natural self-healing mechanisms with the minimum possible force and disturbance.
Manuel likes to share his findings and conclusions with you and encourage your participation in your own healing. To this end he offers simple advice on posture, body-use and other relevant aspects of life-style. He also offers coaching on yoga-based exercise, bringing together body, mind and breath, in a variety of settings, including
- one-to-one coaching
- regular monthly weekend intensive workshops in London
- specialisttherapeutic yoga holidays and retreats in Spain.
Manuel is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).
