Grace Owen is a career coach, speaker and author. For over fifteen years she has equipped hundreds of leaders, managers and professionals to excel in their work. Clients describe Grace as engaging, bringing clarity, professional, focused and calm!

This has taken her into leading organisations such as London Business School, the BBC, Environment Agency, Brit Insurance, the NHS, Barclays Bank, Birmingham University, Camden Council, the Crown Prosecution Service and the Baptist Union (UK). Grace has also equipped many people to make a successful transition from employment to going freelance or running their own business.
Her proven track record and pragmatic approach stems from working in HR/Learning and Development at a senior level for Marks and Spencer, Whitbread and Costa Coffee before starting her freelance business in October 2003..

A certified coach of the International Coach Federation, Grace seeks out continuous improvement and undergoes regular supervision. She has an MSc in Learning and Development from Revans University, USA and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Ashridge Business School Alumni.

Grace was featured in The Times, The Metro, New Nation, Trace Magazine (USA), Time Out, The Guardian online ( for Careers Talk) and Red Magazine. Her articles have been published in Pride Magazine, Precious online and various others. She was guest speaker on Colourful Radio and BBC Scotland's MacAulay & Co show.  Grace was one of the UK's leading career coach's at the One Life Live 2009 ‘Career Clinic’. Her first book The Career Itch - 4 Steps For Taking Control Of What You Do Next is now on sale.

Grace is passionate about voluntary work and currently mentors emerging leaders in cross sector organisations. Recently she was a trustee for a charity committed to empowering the disadvantaged in Kotei, a small village in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa. She was also chair of a management committee pioneering a Youth Café project in northeast London that provides a safe place for young people.
