Wrisley Magargal

Wrisley Magargal

Nutritional Therapy

Having struggled with gastrointestinal issues and migraines for years, Wrisley discovered the incredible transformation that nutritional therapy can provide through diet and lifestyle changes. Originally from the US, Wrisley worked in marketing and events for over 7 years. She travelled around the world for global campaigns working in high stress environments. After experiencing nutritional therapy for herself, Wrisley decided to retrain as a nutritional therapist here in London earing a BSc (Hons) from the University of Westminster.

Now Wrisley practices nutritional therapy based in the functional medicine paradigm, which seeks to address the underlying causes of poor health rather than focussing on symptoms alone.

Seeing Wrisley guarantees a nutrition plan bespoke to you as she believes that one size certainly does not fit all. Your nutrition plan is developed to evolve as symptoms change and improve to ensure you get the right nutrition for your state of health. In addition to your nutrition plan, Wrisley also offers a full dietary analysis for your food diary to help you understand how to continue to improve your diet for health.

Wrisley works with a wide range of clients from weight loss to fatigue and her main areas of interest are in gastrointestinal health, hormone imbalances and postnatal health. Wrisley believes that the path to truly feeling well is through a healthy gut.

Wrisley is a registered nutritional therapist with the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

When Sarah first tried yoga she loved the way it made her feel happy. 25 years later it still does. Her daily practice helps her stay grounded and reminded that while you can never control what happens around you it is always possible to choose how to react.

After travelling in India and hanging out on a rooftop practising yoga daily with a Baba, Sarah came back to London in 2008, had a beautiful baby boy in 2009 and gave up her day job to train as a yoga teacher. Since qualifying as a vinyasa flow yoga teacher in 2011 she has undertaken further training to teach pregnancy, post natal and adults and children with disabilities. Her training has been with top yoga teachers such as David Swenson, Elena Brower and Jason Crandell.

Sarah’s classes reflect her own experience of a regular yoga practice, constantly learning and growing in knowledge by working with so many inspirational teachers and students. Yogic philosophy is woven throughout in a relevant way to how we live today.
